Paws 'N Playtime is a unique doggie daycare, centrally located in Durango. We are locally owned and operated. We treat your pets like they were part of our own family!

Paws 'N Playtime is not just an 'ordinary' doggie daycare & boarding facility.

We are very involved with the community and major supporters of the La Plata County Humane Society and Annie's Orphans.

Any dog that is adopted from either location, receives a a $10 off coupon for their first grooming by Paws 'N Playtime! They just need to call us and make an appointment and let us make their dog feel great!

We also pick up dogs from both LPCHS and Annie's Orphans who are in need of being groomed before they are able to be adopted. We do this free of charge. Our groomer works her magic on these dogs and our track record shows most of these dogs are adopted within 2 days of being groomed. It's amazing how good the dogs feel and how much more attractive they are to their future owners once they have been bathed and groomed.

Paws 'N Playtime works very closely with Alpha Canine Academy owned by Julie Winkelman, CDT. We are actively involved with their socialization classes and have taken their training courses as well.

Many dogs that start out at Alpha Canine Academy, come here for further socializtion. We work with many dogs that have not been well socialized and therefore they need that 'extra' type of care and integration that we provide at Paws 'N Playtime.

We also work with many puppies that are new to being around other dogs. We have a small dog area for them, and we work with them to be comfortable with larger dogs. This may take some time, but that is part of what makes us 'unique' in the doggie daycare world!
